The abundance of flowers from late winter through to early summer is generally first to attract favour.
Wattles colour our natural landscape in spectacular fashion. Flower colours generally range from bright golden yellow through to white with countless shades in between.
The flowers attract many birds to the garden and can also be used for cut flowers and foliage.
Did you know that our local Silver Wattle (Acacia dealbata) is Europes biggest selling cut flower? Over there it is called mimosa.
