Tall Sedge (Carex appressa)
Carex appressa is an ornamental native grass useful in a boggy position. It prefers damp soils and is ideal for margins of lakes and creek beds and also for swampy sites. It will also do well in areas that are moist yet free draining.
Carex appressa is frost hardy and looks great as a mass planting in garden beds and wetlands, good for erosion control and provides wildlife habitat.
