Mountain Pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata) is a gorgeous small to medium shrub which grows to around 2m tall and wide.
The lovely white/cream flowers are fantastic for the polinators (bees etc) througout spring. The flowers are then followed by delicious berries which are likened to spicy blueberries. *You need to have a male and a female plant in order for the berries to form.
The leaves are edible all year round and are great to put a spicy punch into a salad or sandwhich.
It is frost tolerant and responds well to pruning!
